Group III, #17a - Black and White Plasm (Enlargement, Quartz Lens)
A photograph, utilizing a quartz lens, of an enlarged view of the medium, Mary Marshall, with a black and white teleplasmic mass attached to the left side of her face during a seance at the home of Dr. Thomas Glendenning Hamilton on April 7, 1929. The black portion of the teleplasmic mass is said to resemble hair while the white portion is in its amorphous state. The thin, hair-like strands in the bottom portion of the mass are said to form a web when viewed under magnification., Luna Collection ID - 28::UMANITOBALCM::NA, Luna Object ID - 83690, Luna Image ID - 119233
