Peter, Matt and Steve went to Hamiota and
Birtle to work during threshing time. Peter worked
for Britcher Brothers for awhile. He then moved to
Hudson to work as a lumberjack. Peter had a stroke
while in Ontario. He then had to stay in Winnipeg
hospital for six months. After, he moved back to
Petlura to live at the bunkhouse. Peter never mar—
ried. He moved to Roblin in 1981 and passed away in
1982.

Matt went to Hudson, Ontario to work in a bush
camp. Matt and Marge had two children: James
and Betty are in Winnipeg. Matt is presently living
in Atikokan, Ontario.

Steve married Tennia Kuch. They stayed at
home for a few months, then left for Red Lake,

Ontario. There Steve worked in a mine. They had
four children: Murray is in Red Lake, presently
called Balmertown; Glen and Lorie are also in Bal—
mertown. Their first child, a girl, died at 11 months.
Steve passed away in 1980.

Bill and Paul also went to Hudson to work in a
bush camp. Bill married Marge Haney and they are

presently living in Atikokan. They have three chil—

dren: Allan lives in Coleman, B.C., Debbie lives in

Elford, BC, and Gail lives in Calgary, Alberta.
Paul and Beatrice had two sons: Melvin lives in

Paul Slobozian.

 

Calgary, Alberta and Gerry is in Thunder Bay,
Ontario.

Elsie moved to Hudson to work in the bush
camp as a cook. After a year, Elsie came home and
worked in Dauphin Hospital for two years. Then
she worked in nursing homes in Winnipeg and
Brandon. She married Ernest Storozynsky in 1955.
They are living in Shortdale district and farming.
Diane was the first of seven children. She is living in
Winnipeg. Anna is living in Carlyle, Saskatchewan.
David, Sharon, Lorie and Wanda are at home.
Jayne, their fourth child, was born in 1962 and died
accidently on September 23, 1979.

Lynda and Martha moved to Brandon to work
in restaurants, then they moved to London, Ontario
for one year. From there, Martha went to Calgary,
Alberta. Martha married George Avermenko. They
are living in Calgary and have one daughter, Geor—
glna.

Lynda moved to Winnipeg and married Eugene
Kindret. They have two children: Brian is in Win—
nipeg and Bonnie is at home. Lynda and Eugene are
presently living in Winnipeg.

Ann went to work in Hudson, Ontario, then
travelled to Winnipeg. There she married Ron Ben—
son. They have four children at home: Cheryl,
Kevin, Darin and Jason.

Fred married Elsie Sidlar in 1967. They lived in
the Hollyburn district on the farm. They have four
children at home: Allen, Ken, Terry and Tracy.
Fred and Elsie are presently living in the Grandview
district.

Walter moved to Hudson, Ontario to work as a
lumberjack. Later, he moved to Steenan, Sask.
where he is presently living with his wife, Lou, and
son, Sheldon.

Rose went to Calgary where she worked in a
restaurant. Rose married Dale Sarenson and they
are living in Calgary. They have one son, Todd.
