A school district of 20 sections was formed in 1884 and a new log school built on the SW. corner of the S.W. % of 12-18-22, near Glenforsa siding. We wonder now what the results would have been, had the trustees found out about the races which took place after school, as the drivers vied for first place on the road. Winter school van. In some instances an open sleigh-box was used. This way the children were assured of receiving all the fresh air they needed. Of course it was always fun to Jump out and run behind for awhile.
