Roy assisted his father in the office until World War II,when he went overseas with the Postal Corp. On his return he became postmaster at Camp Shilo. Manitoba, where he served for over twenty years. He retired from the post office, and he and his wife Dorothy (nee Jones, a former Plumas school teacher) now live at White Rock, British Colum— bia.

Phyllis, a school teacher for some years, married Syd Buckler (a meteorologist). They are retired and live at Peachland, British Columbia.

Roma assisted her father in the post office. In 1942 she joined the Air Force with the postal division, was posted to Arnprior, Ontario, con— tracted rheumatic fever and was transferred back to Deer Lodge Hospital, Winnipeg, where after one and one-half years she was dis— charged. She returned to Plumas and later assisted her father in the post office. Upon Mr. Archibald’s retirement, she became assistant post— mistress. In 1951 she was appointed postmistress, a position she held un- til early 1955. In 1954 she married Sigmund Macks, a farmer. They built onto the telephone office for their home. In July, 1969 Roma retired from the telephone exchange when the switch was made to dial phones. Sig and Roma are both retired and reside in Plumas.

Neta, who married Reinhold (Lolly) Buschau, taught school at Soudan, Tupper, and Plumas Collegiate. They have a business in Plumas, and reside in the village.

Wilma, who married Jack Donogh of Griswold, Manitoba, was also a school teacher and taught until a few years ago. She and Jack farm at Griswold.

Ruby was a stenographer and worked until a few years ago. She married Stewart Buckler, an electrical engineer. They reside in Win—

nipeg.

REV. T. EARLE ARMISTEAD

Rev. T. Earle Armistead came from McGregor, Manitoba to Plumas in 1969 to serve on the Plumas—Lakeshore pastoral charge. He was ordained in 1945 and his ministry has all been within Manitoba Conference. His wife Joyce, nee Jackson, is the daughter of a Manitoba clergyman. They have two sons and a daughter. Richard, a welder with Motor Coach Industries, Winnipeg, is married to Glenys Dobowski; Greg, an intended candidate for Theology is now in second year arts at University of Winnipeg, and Anne, has just graduated from Grade twelve.

Earl and Joyce were privileged to be in Plumas during the building of the new United Church. The Armisteads are now living at Oakville, Manitoba.
