John and Clara had two daughters. Heather is married to Douglas Scramstad. They reside in Selkirk and have four children, Steven, Devin, Fawn and Jolene. Corrine is married to Danny Calder. They reside in Selkirk, Manitoba.
2. Leonard Alfred was born on March 28, 1927 and was raised in the Geysir area. At the age of fourteen years, he went out fishing on Lake Win— nipeg. He worked on the lake until he was twenty- one. During that time, he worked for Einar Nor~ dal for a short time.
In 1951, he married lnga Gnomundson, daughter of Mundi and Kate Guhmundson of Framnes. He was employed at the Arborg Con— sumers’ Co-op for thirteen years. He left their employ and started his own business at the Arborg Soto Store which he operated until 1981 when he sold it to Herman and Lorraine Palsson.
Leonard and Inga reside in Arborg. They have seven children:
a) Marvin is married to Tina Kloek. They reside in Winnipeg and have two daughters, Jessica and Courtney.
b) Grant, married to Kathy Palsson, is the secretary—treasurer of the Municipality of Bifrost. They reside in Arborg and have three children, Corey, Krista and Blair.
c} Fern married Jerry Clark. She is a nurse and they have one son, Rory. They reside in Stockwell, Saskatchewan.
d} Robert is married to Debbie Sigurdson. He works for the Highways Department. They reside in Arbor-g and have one daughter.
e) Erica Lorna is married to Brian Johnson. They reside in Arborg and have two daughters, Theresa and Jaclyn.
f) Cora is presently employed by Settler‘s Mortgage Company and resides in Winnipeg.
g) Ivy is at home and attends the Arborg Collegiate.

£5. Norma Hope was born on August 25, 1928. After receiving her education at the Island School, she worked as a domestic in the Geysir area and in Gimli at Arnason’s Dairy.
In 1945, she worked as a cook’s assistant at Baldur Danielson’s lumber camp. There she met Sammy Oddleifson ot Arborg. Sammy and Nor- ma were married September 14, 1946 and farm- ed in the Arborg area (SW. 35—22—33.
Norma and Sammy were active in the life of the community. He was a member of the Barley Club, Crop Improvement Club, and was a director of the Arborg Consumers’ Co-op, as well as being involv- ed in minor hockey.
Sammy passed away on April 28, 1980. Nor— rna still resides on the family farm. Norma and Sammy had five children.
a) Judith Dale received her elementary and high school education in Arborg and then graduated from Success Business College. She married Kennel Marino Karvelson of Arborg. They reside in Win» nipeg and have three children, Lana Rae, Lisa Dale and Karvel Clayton.
b) Sigrid Marlene graduated from the Arborg Collegiate institute and then entered the Winnipeg General Hospital School of Nursing, completing her course in 1971. She married Barry Michael Zagozewski from River-ton, Manitoba. They reside in Winnipeg and have two sons, Brett Michael and Timothy Norman,
c) Shelley Hope received her education in An borg and then graduated from Success Business College. She worked for McKague~Sigmar Realty Company in Winnipeg until she married Thomas Daniel Bjornson of Riverton. They reside in Ar— borg, where Tom is the Loans Manager at the Ar- borg Credit Union. They have three children, Daniel Ryan, Eric Neil and Mark Sigurour.
:1) Craig Jeffrey graduated from Arborg Col~ legiate and then completed a course as an Emergency Medical Technician. He worked for Melton Ambulance Service in Portage la Prairie and then moved to Winnipeg and works in the Emergency Department at Health Sciences Centre.
e) Curtis Todd completed high school in Arborg and entered the University of Manitoba, taking a diploma course in Agriculture. Following comple- tion of that course, he will manage the family farm in Arborg.

5. Maria Albertina Joy was born on June 14, 1936 at Geysir. She also attended the Island School and Arbors; High School. She married Donald Keller of Arborg in 1954. After living in Winnipeg for one year, they moved to Red Lake, Ontario, where Don worked in a gold mine. In
