shop. John and Jessie had two hearing and speech handicapped children

who had to attend a special school at Winnipeg so Jessie had to move to Winnipeg and John stayed behind. John was killed by a car in 1969 as he was walking along the highway with his nephew. He was buried in the Sandy Lake Catholic cemetery. '

Mike. the second born, took some schooling in Montcalm. He worked for farmers. Mike married Rose Krenkewich. They purchased a form but did not form. Instead they went to the mines in Ontario and northern Manitoba. His health, due to underground conditions, began to give out so he came back, got a job at Glenella on the section for C.N.R. and then was transferred to Sandy Lake. From here he was transferred to Russell and then to Elphinstone. here Mike retired due to back problems. His wife Rose passed away in 1982 and Mike lives alone in Elphinstone. Mike and Rose had a family of six: Shirley, Eddy, Dennis, Marilyn. Rose Ann and Rose Marie (twins). All are married except Dennis.

Annie the third born. She married Bill Lukianchuk of Herod. They farmed together with Bill’s parents and also worked out. Then they purchased a quarter from Steve Marcischuk and farmed for awhile. They sold their farm and bought a farm by Erickson again from Steve Marcisehuk. Hard times set in and they were forced to give up the farm and they went to Clanwilliam and rented land. From here they went to Scandinavia and purchased a farm. They retired and moved into Erickson. Annie and Bill had a family of seven: Phyllis. Nick, Stella, Carol (married to Ken Beatty). Sylvia, Rudy and Victoria.

Rose, the fourth born, attended providence School 1931-1933. She then went to work for Bob Lee. Ross Underhill, George Burlet (at Moline), Fred Bram (at Molina) and Shaws at Hamiota. She then stayed one year on the farm with her brother John. Rose married Sam Pilipchuk in 1941 at Sandy Lake. They made their home at Sandy Lake and Sam did carpentry work. In 1947 they moved to Winnipeg where Sam continued with carpentry. After the family grew up Rose went to work for a sewing factory and also as a partime waitress in the Royal Alexandra, Maiborough and St. Charles Hotels, also St. Charles Country Club. She worked in the Donut House Bakery after this, then six years in the Tasty Bread Bakery. Rose and Sam moved to Sandy Lake in about 1975, purchased the house from Harry Proskin, and settled here in their retirement. Rose and Sent have a family of four; Sylvia, Stanley, Walter and Crest. All are married except Walter. Sylvia lives in Winnipeg with her husband Bruce Ireland who is a caretaker. They have a family of four: Tod, Kathy, Douglas and Martin. All go to school. Sylvia tutors in the King Edward School. Son Stanley married Germain St. Germaine and lives in Winnipeg where he is a roofing man. Stanley and Germaine have a family of four: Craig, Grant, Stacy and Crystal. Son Walter lives in Winnipeg and he is a plumber. The youngest son Orest liver in Winnipeg and married Sylvia Sydovae. Ores: is an electrician. He and Sylvia have a family of three: Tammie, Carrie and Venisna.

Carrie, the fifth born, died at infancy. Carrie, the sixth born, was born on Nov. 19, 1924. She attended

school Carrie went to work at Winnipeg and then to Toronto, working

in restaurants. At Toronto she married Bruoe Anderson. They moved to Fort Erie, Ontario where Bruce worked as a cab driver and also for

C.N. Carrie became ill so they sold out and moved to Toronto. Shortly after in 1953 Carrie passed away. Carrie and Bruce had a family of three

boys: Bobby, Ronald and Donnie.

Tony was born August 23, 1928. He left Sandy Lake at the age of l4 and worked at Toronto. He married Myrtle Atkinson and lives in ;

Toronto till this day. Here he owns a saivage cleaning Business. Tony
