Description
The back of a photograph of Gordon Churchill, Progressive Conservative Member of Parliament for Winnipeg South Centre. Churchill is the man standing on the left, the man on the right is unidentified. Churchill was first elected to Parliament in 1951. Churchill became a cabinet minister in John Diefenbaker's administration, beginining in 1957. Churchill is the man standing on the left, the man on the right is unidentified. On the wall behind both men is a map of Canada. On the map there are pieces of circular and square paper placed at city and town locations in Alberta, Saaskatchewan, Manitoba, and western Ontario. Some of the cities are connected by string.
