A photograph of an enlargement of the medium, Mary Marshall, with a handkerchief that was formed "supernormally" enveloping her head during a seance held at the home of Lillian Hamilton on February 23, 1940. The pattern of the handkerchief was said to be designed by someone in the spirit world and was intended to match the pansies in Ms. Marshall's dress. W.A.
