"Carousel" program
A program for a performance of "Carousel", written by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II and performed by the University of Manitoba Glee Club in 1955. The program contains a note from the chairmen of the Glee Club, biographies of Rodgers and Hammerstein, a history of the play, biographies of some of the main cast members and a list of the entire cast, as well as a list of the supporting personnel, orchestra, and production personnel and patrons. A list of past University of Manitoba Glee Club productions is also included, as well as a history and photographs of this particular production of "Carousel".
"Finian's Rainbow" program
A program for a production of "Finian's Rainbow", written by E. Y. Harburg, Fred Saidy, and Burton Lane, and performed by the University of Manitoba Glee Club in 1956. This program contains a note from the co-chairmen of the Glee Club, Harry Rostig and Don Lindsay; a synopsis of the play; biographies of Harburg, Saidy, and Lane; biographies of the key cast members and supporting personnel; a list of songs; and a list of the entire cast, supporting personnel, orchestra, and patrons.
"Song of Norway" program
A program for a production of "Song of Norway", written by Edvard Grieg, Robert Wright, George Forrest, and Milton Lazarus, with a story by Homer Curran and orchestral and choral arrangements by Arthur Kay. This production was put on by the University of Manitoba Glee Club at Winnipeg's Playhouse Theatre from 1-6 February, 1954. The program contains a note from the president of the Glee Club; a history and synopsis of the play; a biography of Edvard Grieg, whom the play is about; biographies of some of the main cast members and supporting personnel; and a list of the entire cast, as well as the supporting personnel, orchestra, and production personnel and patrons. A list of past University of Manitoba Glee Club productions is also included.
