Description: | A letter dated September 24, 1929 addressed to the Walter J. Phillips from Bertram Brooker. Brooker responds to what must be Phillips's reluctance to be included in the Yearbook of the Arts in Canada that Brooker was in the process of editing. He acknowledges the possibility of a misunderstanding arising from one of his "The Seven Arts" columns, and emphasizes his admiration for Phillips's work. He informs Phillips that the photograph he sent for inclusion in the yearbook has a flaw, and requests permission to photograph a block print of the same painting for reproduction in the yearbook. |
